Pay Matrix : Rs.31, 340/- (Fix Pay) for 5 years. Pay matrix level No.6: Rs.35, 400- 1, 12,400/- (According to 7th Pay Commission) after completion of the satisfactory service of 5 years.
Probation: 5 years

EDUCATIONAL & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
A candidate shall possess:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or state Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed university under section 3 of the University Grant Commission Act, 1956
(ii) Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
