Library Trainee Requirements (3 Posts) at IIT Hyderabad [Last Date: 22.12.2020]

IIT Hyderabad invites through online applications (google forms) from eligible candidates for the post of “Library Trainee” for engagement on ad-hoc basis in IIT Hyderabad. The appointment shall be purely temporary basis for six months.

Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- per month.

Age limit: 26 years 

Essential Qualifications: 

First Class Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent recognized by UGC.

and

Qualified in UGC-NET/SLET.

Desirable: 

Basic working knowledge of IT and IT applications related to libraries.

• The trainees may be assigned shift duty on the rotation basis and may have to work on Sundays and holidays as well.
• Training / internship certificate will be issued after completion of at least 6 months Training Period at IIT Hyderabad.
• Campus residential accommodation will not be provided for the selected trainees during their training period.
• Selection of candidates will be based on their consistent good academic record, and performance in the online interview.
• Educational qualifications prescribed in this advertisement must have been obtained from a recognized Board/Council/University/Institute.
• Years of Experience’ wherever prescribed is the minimum years of experience required and candidates with longer years of experience may also apply.
• Candidates are advised to bring Photo ID Card (Driving License, Voters Card, PAN Card and Aadhar Card). Candidates are further advised to bring all the original Educational & Experience documents for Verification with one sent of self-attested copies at the time of Written test/Skill test/Interview.
